I tried and failed at 9 different businesses...

In the last 3 years, I chased everything I could find:

• Instagram theme pages

• Took ghostwriting gigs even though I'm a copywriter

• Wrote fictitious stories

• Did forex

• Went back to building on LinkedIn

• Became a reply guy

• Started building a brand sound lifestyle

• Went back to copywriting (on Instagram this time).

• Did YouTube Automations

I failed at all of them.

Or maybe it wasn't failure, maybe I just didn't give it enough time to hatch.

I didn't see myself doing any of them in the next 2-3 years.

At the time of chasing all these skills, the only thing on my mind was monetizing my copywriting skills.

I was like a person in a relationship while harbouring feelings for someone else.

Then I made up my mind to go back to copywriting but not on 𝕏…

On Instagram.

Well ladies and gentlemen, it's safe to say that I do not have 20-30 minutes to spend filming, editing and posting just 1 video to end up with 1 view.

So I quit Instagram too.

Damn, I sound like a fucking quitter. Lol.

But on the bright side, trying these different things and failing has grounded my resolve on 𝕏.

While at it, it felt like I was being called back to where it all began, 𝕏.

I do not regret quitting 3 years ago and chasing all those things.

Granted, if I had stayed, I would have figured it out and by now I'd have gone far, but what does it really matter?

3 years, 5 years, 10 years?

What matters is that you get to where you want to be.

I heard this quote recently, and it has stuck with me:

“When you do get there, it won't matter how long it took.”

I believe it.

So, if you're still unsure what you want to do for your career, keep trying things until you find that one thing that sticks with you.

And give room for no regrets!
